PressGEO November 2026 National Local AI Visibility Report: how often AI recommends local businesses across 23 U.S. metros

PressGEO today published its November 2026 National Local AI Visibility Report, measuring how often ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Copilot name local service businesses when people ask for a local pro across 23 U.S.

metros. The report is built from 13,534 recorded AI answers over the last 90 days, covering 902 checked firms in 20 metros and 13 service categories. Firms without recorded checks are excluded. ## Key findings - 251 of 902 checked local firms (27.8%) were named at least once by an AI engine in recorded buyer searches over 90 days. - 651 checked firms were not named in any recorded AI answer. - Highest share named: Seattle (48.4% of 157 checked firms).
