What is the Seattle AI Visibility Index and what does it measure?

The Seattle AI Visibility Index is a monthly report published by PressGEO that measures which local service firms are recommended by AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. The November 2026 edition analyzed 157 firms across 14 categories based on 5,007 recorded AI answers. A key finding from the latest data is that 79 of the 157 measured Seattle-area firms were not named in any recorded AI answer, highlighting a significant visibility gap for nearly half of the local businesses tracked.
