How does the Dallas AI Visibility Index measure local firm rankings?

The Q4 2026 Dallas AI Visibility Index, released by PressGEO, evaluated 129 local firms across 10 service categories to determine which businesses AI engines recommend. The study analyzed 104 specific AI answers from engines like ChatGPT and Gemini collected over the previous 90 days. A key finding of the report is that AI recommendations are highly concentrated; 91 out of the 104 measured firms in the Dallas-Fort Worth region were not mentioned in a single recorded AI response, while a select few achieved 100% visibility.
